Who's gotten that replaced? Also known as a Driveshaft coupler.

I believe there is a rubber 'donut' that goes around the driveshaft that has cracking (due to age?) and Porsche does not sell that part by itself anymore it seems. You have to replace the entire driveshaft. Is this correct?

What are the costs involved?

Aka the "Guibo" I don't imagine labor costing too much to replace it.

I had the driveshaft coupler on the right side of my 2004 C2 go bad. Threw grease all over teh inside or the right wheel.

The dealer did replace the entire drive shaft and a few fittings. It was replaced under warranty, so I don't know the cost.

Here is my original thread on this. You are the only other person I can recall that has had the same problem.

Good to hear that it was covered under warranty. Mine's still in effect under CPO. Hopefully they don't pull any shenannigans.
