Default What size could I use????

I have an 01 C4 NB. I purchased Carrera S wheels in a 19x11 for the rear which came with 315/25/19 Conti Sport 2s. I wanted to ask are there any other tire sizes I might be able to switch to? I am sure someone else is running these wheels on the NB.

Thanks

i'm running the same height, width and tire size, it is technically correct to maintain standard rolling diameter within the variance provided by Porsche.

if the 25 number is scaring you, remember that 25 series is an aspect ratio number, not an absolute height.

So 315mm section width tire with 25 series section height profile will have an actual section height of 315X25%=~79mm=~3.1inches

This section height is roughly equivalent to a 275/30=~82mm=~3.2inches

If you don't track the car with the 19 inch wheels, the Falken FK452 is a good and fair priced street tire. I run them in 19 inch on my BMW.

on the 19X11s (street) I am currently on Toyo T1R. I don't have pics on me here, but there a ton on this site (just click on my username and search for more posts by this user, the earlier threads have pics galore)

Edit: I found a couple

Honestly, I'm considering going to Conti or back to Michelin next time. Even though the toyos ride smoother than the PS2s on my 17" lightweights, there's some sidewall flex that I don't like. Useless for track, even though the R compounds have a great reputation.

I believe the other options for that diameter/width are PS2, Yokohama Advan, Conti 2 and now Conti 3, and the Falken 452s (which seem to be very similar to the T1Rs, great road tires by all accounts, share similar tread pattern and sidewall flex issue)

Vredestein has an option at (don't quote me) 295 or 305 that may be worth considering as well, many have offered opinions, run a search for that name

Thank you for all the info guys. I will start researching all this info today. I am glad I still have my turbo twists with good tires so I can take my time looking.
