Post Gumball 3000 hits San Diego (Large # Pictures)

By mid-late afternoon on Sunday, the Gumball cars started to roll in to down-town San Diego - they were saying that $70M of cars were involved in the rally!

From what I saw - it was a bunch of overly rich, spoiled, car abusing show offs - ($100,000+ entry fee!)

Just a selection of shots from the parade of ultra-autos that rolled in (Porsche were well represented):

Never did figure out what the face masks were all about - either people being 'wacky', trying to avoid being ID'd, or just trying to avoid a speeding ticket

I heard that some of the main group topped 160 mph on the way down from LA - although officially that 'never happened'

Well, if money brings you the caring, pleasant demeanor of most of the idiots I saw on Sunday, then we're all better off being a little poorer.

I've never seen so many whiney, stuck-up, waste o' space, individuals in one place at the same time.

Given the current state of the world economy, it was difficult to watch.

High points of the day were the female presenter of the US channel SPEED TV, Ashley Van Dyke, bitching about having to wheel her Louis Vuitton luggage around the corner to the hotel door.

Apparently this constituted the whole event being 'completely f***ed up'.

And a leggy/busty blonde bimbo kicking the tires of her boyfriends dead Lambo as it was lowered off of a tow truck, having lasted only 450 miles of the 3,000 mile road trip, broken water pump.

She then proceeded to slam her LV hand bag onto the roof of the Lambo, as she unpacked her unfeasibly high heels and other 'essentials'

You can see the Lambo on the truck in the background above - behind Ms moan-a-lot.

Life's a bitch!
