Unhappy Question Clutch / Flywheel

I have a 2002 996 cab and just replaced the clutch, rel arm, spring and flywheel,$2,500.00. I have noticed the clutch is much lighter than before and the shifter feels sloppy in 1st or reverse gear. If I am moving in 1st gear and go to neutral then try to go back to first it wont go. All the rest of the gears seem fine. The car now feels like it has less snap (power to the wheels) when I downshift and get on it. It does however take off with much less clutch pedal needed. Anyone have any thoughts of what might be the problem?Any thoughts would be appreciated.
