I am looking for a 99-02 996 Coupe project car that needs an engine. I will consider a high mileage one too.

I know there was a rennlist member back in May that had a great one for sale, but I did not get in touch with him in time.

It needs to be a coupe, and needs to be a 6 speed. Aero kit would be good too, but not mandatory.

So if anyone is looking to sell rather than replacing, please let me know.

 

Sorry to Laugh....,but based on the posts of some that should be the easiest thing in the world to locate.

After all we were all just informed that all 3.4's and 3.6's are doomed to fail!!

Based on that "fact" you should be literally tripping over engineless 996's.

i have a 99 with sport package (seats, suspension) and 6 speed. i've also installed new gt3 seats, gt3 bar, harnesses, and take off steering wheel.

56k miles and silver/black leather.

engine went at first track day on carousel at road america.

According to these forums they're everywhere. You should be able to walk around your neighborhood and find two or three discarded by the curb.
