Congrats, and be sure to get back to the dealer asap with questions or problem areas.
My dealer replaced my passenger window regulator at no charge because I came within a couple of days when I noticed some odd noises.
Also, add your location to your profile please, you'll get local suggestions and meet local folks here.

No one knows what 226 is...every 996 has it...something like "Auto equipped with engine & wheels" So how much? We all need to know how fast our cars are depreciating!!! Looks to be in nice shape. Looks like aftermarket exhaust...your tips are sticking out farther than normal from the angle you shot. Note my sig...same angle & setup shot!

Congratulations on the Porsche. That’s a very nice color. You say the wheels are cheap; I think they look nice. What kind are they. Who’s the ruffian in the picture having a bad hair day?

That's a killer car in a killer color! Congrats. I've never heard of Monarch wheels, but they look pretty damn hot to me.
You're gonna love this car.

Thanks, I'm loving it so far, & yes, the color really stands out. Taking it tomorrow for an inspection, hopefully everything checks out... Yes, the wheels do look nice, kind of like BBS style, I'm just assuming they're cheap since I'd never heard of the brand, but I'm not sure actually. The brand is called "Monarch." Do you know what they go for? I want to know what I can get for them. They're 19's, I want to go down to 18's, possible GT3 style or something similiar to the 997 Sport Designs.

Just pulling your chain. The wheels are Monarch’s 410 style. They are a small boutique maker that focuses on aggressive fitment and funky style. They are on the heavy side at 25 to 27 pounds each. Monarch are manufactured and distributed by J2. You can get a J2 410-S wheel for about $175 each.

Just had the car inspected by Pioneer Porsche, they told me I had a SUPER CLEAN & well taken care of car. It only has minor, typical problems. Clutch is a little stiff, & they recommend I change it before it turns into a problem, a small oil leak (RMS), & the passenger seat won't adjust up or down (although the rest of the functions work fine)... The dealer I bought it from is going to do the RMS for free (with the genuine updated Porsche part) & the clutch at about 1/4th the price that Porsche would do it for, haven't asked about the seat yet, but I'll make him do it for free, lol.
Also, at Pioneer they recommended that I let them put the stock intake, headers, & cats. My car has B&B headers & cats, & an EVO air intake. They said the intake will damage the MAF, & that the headers & cats are not recommended by them. The guy said, "we don't take too kindly to aftermarket parts here at Porsche." Will those parts really cause damage? Or do they just want the car stock & of course sell me their parts & service?

The dealerships always delight in listing anything on the car that's 'not approved'.
It's part of their 'cover my ***' strategy - in case anything ever goes wrong.
Hoehn up here in Carlsbad gave me disapproving stares when I put the 997 wheels on my 996, and noted that I'd fitted non N Rated tyres and non Porsche rotors and pads.... Give me a break!
Who's doing your clutch and RMS? Hope it's not Black Forest - I've heard bad reports from clutch and RMS work there.
Good indie is All German Auto in Escondido - best I've found in the area

You live in Carlsbad? I'm studying up there at GIA.
Clutch & RMS is being done by the used car dealer I bought it from in LA (since he's doing the RMS for FREE & paying for half of the clutch), he's going to use genuine Porsche parts & blah blah, but I'm going to have the car re-inspected afterwards to make sure they did everything right anyway.
