JUST GOT MY PORSCHE!!!
Hi, I've been lurking around here for the last couple months, asking questions, learning as much as I could about P-cars while I made my decision on wether to go for the 996 or a couple other cars I had in mind. Well, today I finally drove home in my new (to me) Carrera & couldn't be happier. I will soon pay for membership & will become active on the board. This really seems like a great community... Well, before I say anything else, here's a pic. (I took it with my phone so it's not so great, but more DECENT photos will come soon). I'll just leave you guys with this meanwhile so I don't get told to "post a %@#*ing picture"
By the way, how can I decode the "Options Codes" it has under the hood? Because the dealer didn't know anything about the damn car, lol. Infact, I asked him if it had any aftermarket parts installed by the previous owner (besides the cheap wheels, lol), & he told me no. When I got home I realized it has an EVO V-Flow Air Intake, & I suspect an aftermarket exhaust or something, because it's pretty loud (at least compared to my brother's 997 S). Well anyway, about the codes, help please! Thanks.

Congratulations, Raphael. I love the color. For options codes, check out the General Discussion section and look under Opt. Decoder. For any code you're unable to find, send me a PM. I'd be happy to help.
Also, find a good independent mechanic (ask for a referral on Rennlsit) and have the car inspected - kind of sounds like you might not have had a PPI done. I'm admittedly making an assumption here. So, if I'm wrong, I apologize.
How many miles are on it? What year is it? (just curious)
Have fun!
Bob

I like the color... definitely not very common. I am interested to see some more pics. However, I do find it strange that you say that you noticed the air intake AFTER you got home. A word of advice for the future... spend a bit more time investigating before you spend those hard earned dollars. It may save you a big headache down the road. Hopefully you will not uncover any issues with the car, and all will workout well.
