Coolant Leak - Where does this hose run?
Well i started pissing coolant all over my engine bay and much to my surprise, the hose in the picture (the one running down) had rubbed against the pulley and torn.
i can't see how far down it runs and am not in the mood to start repairing it right now so i didn't check to see how far dow nthe hose runs. does anyone know if the engine will have to be removed to get to the other end, or just the airbox?

Omar, I had to replace the lower hose recently. It was easy until I broke the plastic piece that attaches to the power steering pump. It is very fragile. You will need a couple hose clamps to replace the factory (single use clamps). The part was cheap from Sunset, but required two tries before I got the right part. Good luck.

Does anyone have a part number for this? I had the same plastic piece break tonight and now my engine is covered in coolant. Do I just replace the plastic piece or do I need to do anything with the hoses as well. Thanks.

Yeah, I barely nudged the hose and it snapped off. I thought the hose clamp failed and it had slipped off. Then after the coolant stopped coming out I realized that it was a plastic piece that had broken. Part Number anyone?

Thanks for the info. Actually getting the piece out of the hose was easy. Just screwed in a screw and pulled, and out it came. I hate calling the parts dept. saying "Yeah, it's al little hose that runs from here to here". Because you know when you get there, it's going to be the wrong part. Anyhow, thanks again for the help.
