Default New Battery, now ABS & PSM lights on

After sitting for three weeks while I was on vacation, my car battery finally died. I swapped it out with a new Duramax 48-DL. The car starts and drives fine, but the "ABS" & "PSM Off" lights are on. How do I correct this? TIA.

Code reader at Pep Boys or buy one for $50. Or your MAF is going; get the fault code.

Get a cheap OBD II code reader and try to reset the codes. Everyone should have one, instructions are with the reader. Don't buy a fancy one that uses a laptop, I have one and never use it anymore. With a SC you get very familiar with them. I have an Actron, Autozone. Will

Try the basics, I would start with the fuses. If there is an open circuit for the ABS control module, it will trigger a light. PSM, don't know but assume the same.

Code Reader shows fault code 4440:

Fault code 4440 Steering angle sensor
If the fault codes 4400 "Transverse acceleration sensor", 4420
"Rate-of-turn sensor" and 4440 "Steering-angle sensor" are displayed
together, there may be an open circuit in the circuit to control
module terminal 39.

Possible cause of fault
♦ Short circuit to ground/voltage or open circuit in circuit to control
module terminals 21, 39
♦ Steering angle sensor calibration incorrect
♦ Wiring/ plug connection faulty
♦ Steering angle sensor faulty
NOTE:
Calibration of the steering angle sensor must be performed on a
measuring platform. The steering angle sensor must be calibrated
after work has been carried out on the running gear in the area of
the front axle. The security code is required for calibration of the
steering angle sensor. The security code is read with the PST2
under menu item "Actual values". Calibration is described
in⇒ Rep. Gr. 4560; Calibrating steering angle sensor.

I highly suspect that this is related to #1: Short circuit to ground/voltage or open circuit in circuit to control module terminals 21, 39 since it came on after a battery replace.

Any ideas where the control module terminals are located?

TIA
