Default Brake Caliper Clear Coat Peeling?

Hey guys, has anyone else's clear coat on black calipers peeled before? I just washed my car and noticed drive side rear peeling. It does seems as if when I had my tires replaced the person replacing my tires scuffed my caliper with sander? Damn Discount Tire.

What do I do?

Mine too, but I plan to paint mine red as soon as the weather here stabalizes a bit. Already have the paint, clearcoat, and Porsche decals.

I have the big reds on mine and they began peeling after my first track event. Everyone tells me this is a common problem and is caused by the high temp. You would think Porsche would have expected and planned for high temps in their calipers. If anyone knows how to refinish them in a paint that has a higher temp threshold, I'd be interested.

Uhmmmm... see post #2. My calipers looked great 2 years after I did painted them, but then, I didn't track my car.

The Duplicolor will withastand 500 degrees sustained heat. I alos used Duplicolor clear coat spray to spray the calipers after I applied the Porsche decals.
