Aquygen's technology was invented before 1997 and only used 4 ounces of water to travel 100 miles in a Ford Focus. we can see products for our cars in as little time as two years.
Next round of public financing is only $10 million dollars.

Why are you skeptical of technological innovations/breakthroughs? The fact that the company already has contracts with Lockheed, Diamler Chrysler, General Dynamics, NASA and US Gvt (to build a Hydrogen Hummer) makes your comment sound ignorant.

Gotta love the guy shuffling through his hand written index cards! I think if you look closely the last card says "buy a black berry when this thing takes off"...not sure, but I think so...
I believe if the technology is that promising and was invented over 10 years ago, he should be driving around in a porsche hydro-car by now.

"The firm Hydrogen Technology Applications (HTA) has trademarked oxyhydrogen as Aquygen. HTA's founder Dennis Klein holds a patent for an electrolyzer design which states that it differs from Yull Brown's torch patents in that it lacks an electric arc feature.
The claimed applications of HHO and Aquygen are practically indistinguishable from the original claims of Yull Brown. The HHO trademark is associated with an unproven state of matter called magnegases, and a discredited theory about magnecules, which is the basis for a number of fraudulent claims, and third party water-fuelled car scam attempts."

Hydrogen fuel cells are a worthy goal and a lot of research dollars are going towards making viable cells.... we are a long long way from a cell that will be viable in a car.

1) The energy required to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen is the same as the energy that can be liberated by combining hydrogen and oxygen to make water. Once parasitic losses are taken into account, there is a net energy loss. Anything else would be perpetual motion (ie impossible).
2) Even if you accept this loss and generate hydrogen at home using electricity, to power your vehicle, the numbers are implausible: 4 ounces of water contain about half an ounce of hydrogen. By comparison, even driving very economically, a Focus would need 2-3 gallons (~12-18 pounds) of gas to cover 100 miles. So I don't believe the "4 ounces" bit either.
