So let me try to understand this.... even though porsche offers the Mk1 and Mk2 aerokit... you cant buy mk2 aerokit as an option on the 02-04 cars from the factory? That doesnt make sense..

So does the MK II aero kit cost the same as the MK I? Isn' t the MK I around $7k?

You guys might be right but until someone comes up with an order guide that has the MKII as an option I'm sticking with my view that it was never a factory option. That doesn't mean that it couldn't be added by the dealer of even as a custom order from the factory.

I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.

Ok, Roberga got his with the full MK II GT3 aero kit but JimB said it is not in the books? Uh, I am still

Dresler, you have a different kit that is pretty sweet but I was looking for the GT3 looking aero kit. I had the MK I aero and loved the look but I want the benefits of the MK II 996 and what it has to offer. The GT3 aero kit would top it off.

I don"t know what to tell you Cory. I just looked through the order guides for 2003 and 2004 and the MKII wasn't listed. Renntech didn't have 2002 guide but I suspect it's not there either.

I doesn't surprise me at all that Roberga's PDE car has the kit but that doesn't mean it's a factory option. It just means Porsche put the kit on the PDE cars.

The mystery contiues.....
