Hi Jason, it had 29878 miles on it and I paid 49,900. Not the best and not the worst deal, I live about an hour north of Santa Barbara, CA so there are not too many pre-owned P cars nearby worth looking at. I found this one down in San Diego, a few miles from where my parents live and it had pretty much everything I wanted so I took the leap...and have been smiling ever since

Your car looks great, congrats on the purchase!

In my opinion don't paint the lips, it will look too "donut" spare style on an all black car. The lips break it up a little.

Beautiful car! I love how shiny you've got it. What kind of wax are you using? Did you just get it detailed?

That was what I was concerned about but I really dig the all black look...so, anyone have any pics or know where I can find any of a black 996 with all black rims?

Yes, the detail was finished about 30 seconds before the pictures were taken...detail, pics, back to its storage hole...just four more days until the weekend!

As far as the wax, I believe he used Meguiars but not 100% sure...

Really nice! Welcome. I love the color. Wife wouldn't let me get black because she thought I'd wash it after every ride (she's probably right!)

well, at least everyone should own a black car once just to learn a lesson. it looks great for that 5 minutes after the wash.

congrats. great ride and it's a great car bone stock (with the addition of some sticky rubber and the right compound brake pads)

5 minutes?! Come on, I am at able to keep mine clean for a solid 10 mins and then its all downhill...I thought I had learned my lesson, my first German car was a 1996 VW Jetta VR6 (RIP) and she was black on black as well...told myself after that, will never get black again...so, I guess the lesson is to never say never
