Thanks to Bumperplugs.com, I got my freshly painted (looks to be 20 thick coats too) bumperettes this week, and just put them on today. Really brightens up the rear, and no more vinyl treatments! Expensive, but worth it I think!

What was involved in removing/installing the bumperettes? I have a loose one on my 2003 which I would like to tighten up.

You only need a 6mm allen wrench, at least on the 99-01 cars. Not sure if the 2003 versions are part of the bumper?

I have a 2000 C2 and I can see a large hole at the bottom of the bumperette, is that where the 6mm allen wrench is located? Looks like you don't need to remove the bumper right? Can you confirm, thanks a lot...

NO! No need to remove the bumper. Get yourself a flashlight, and a mirror. The large hole is where you can look in and see the smaller allen nut that holds the bumperette to the metal bracket in the bumper. Simply loosen the allen bolt, lift the bumperette up from the bottom, and gently pull it away from the bumper. Done!

Yeah, I'm happy with them! Hope nothing ever bumps into them though, now that they're painted, they are a little more delicate.
