You can clean up the headlight lens by a series of very fine sandpaper rubbings - I know it sounds counter-intuitive but it works. Search for a procedure - if you can't find one I have one in the S8 forum.
Beautiful car! How does the 951 compare with your new 996?
Well i get about 100X more attention for starters ! My 951 was a fun car.. I remember when I first got it, I couldn't believe how tight the car felt for being 21yrs old... it was a smooth ride... jumping to the 996, it's just that much more.. such a refined, well balanced machine... I haven't gotten to drive it too much as we've had crappy weather in my neck of the woods but today is gorgeous out and i plan to enjoy it !

Thanks man ! New shoes are on tap next.. then I will proceed from there !
Congratulations. Does the car have limited slip differential? The black wheels will look great. I'd suggest some painted bumperettes rather than the black ones which draw too much attention.
First thing I noticed when comparing my 944 to the 996 was how much lighter the 996 felt! The steering and braking felt like they were non-assist when I went back into the 944! The 944 definitely felt older and more hand-made if you will.
Color looks great and your 99 looks clean. How many miles?
Thanks ! Car had just under 78k miles.. very clean inside and out... I'm figuring out which wheels i want to go with amongst other mods at the moment.. I hope to tend to those needs.. i mean.. wants real soon !!
