Okay, the goal is to try to get my butt out of bed to attend... much as I hate to drag my Honda along.
According to Google maps the Wake Zone is 7 minutes from where I work... pity that it's 30 mins from my apartment here in Raleigh.

Another great day for coffee with friends. We had good turnout today including one of the regulars from the RL 996 group, Wellardmac! He's recently transplanted to our area and we are happy to have him.
1. Scott (Red Audi S4)
2. Dell (Escalade foo)
3. George (Black 996 Cab)
4. Ken R (Grey 928)
5. Paul (Blue 911)
6. Michael (Black 911)
7. Rich (Grey (911)
8. Randy (Blue 996 Aero)
9. John (Red Boxster)
10. Mark (Red 997)
11. Ken R (Silver Cayman)
12. Wayne (Acura TSX)
13. Leon (Red Targa)
After coffee most of us headed over to Dell's for the tech session on Leon's 964 Targa.
First of all a huge 'Thanks' to Dell (and his wife) for letting us once again use his lift and take up so much of his free time on a Saturday. Also a big thanks to everyone else who helped with the tech session today!
A few more guys arrived at the tech session that were not at coffee, so that was great as well. We wound up not doing all of the work we had planned due to our comfort level and the downsides of screwing something up, manly the lines and the rotors. Both looked great, so Leon was not in any danger of any failures. The lines are what gave us pause; we had the tools to remove the lines at the brackets, but the fittings at the bracket on the car side just seemed a little too reluctant to give, and, we were using the appropriate flare nut wrenches as well.
In the end, we did a complete flush of the brake fluid and installed new pads.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
I had a blast meeting you all this morning. It was nice to get together with you all considering that we have known each other here for so long.... It's just a pity that I had to show up with my Acura... I now know how Tim feels.
