Thanks, but as luck would have it, I've encountered a problem with the wheels. The counter bore is too big, by 1mm and the bore depth on the rear wheels is to shallow, by about 1mm. As a result the wheels will not mount flush on the center hub, and the wheels are not dead center resulting in a very shaky ride.

Looks like I need to have them removed and sent back to DPE.

The new rims look good, but that said, the originals look just as good to me. I think one thing Porsche generally does a good job on is supplying the vehicles with excellent oem rim choices, Now if they could only put an engine in that doesn't have the tendency to eat itself with the IMS...

(Nice looking wheels btw!)
The OEM Sport Design as are even more of of PITA to clean, IMHO. I use a brush, but it still doesn't get into the crevices where the lug nuts sit. You need to use a toothbrush for that (I, like many dentists, recommend Oral-B!).

Still, I'm sticking with the Sport Designs. Seems I have an affinity for wheels that are a bitch to clean.

Ben,

I agree! The OEM Sports will be back on the car today. What a PITA.

BTW, I had 19" RG5s on the car for a few years, but went back to 18" OEM Sport Designs 2 years ago to regain the "stock" look. While I like the look of the DPEs I think the RG5s looke better on the car...and they fit perfect, no conuter bore issues! The RG5s look very nice on your MKI.

So that's your car? Bro, wtf were you thinking downgrading to the DPEs?! Talk to me, Goose! Talk to me before making such purchase decisions.
