Default AC Compressor - How to remove?

I was hoping to remove the AC compressor from my '99 996 before I drop the engine. This way I wouldn't have to disconnect the factory AC lines. I removed one bolt all the way out, a second bolt most of the way but it still seems hung up. Anybody ever remove one and just strap it out of the way? Thanks

Yep, Naval Aviation brought me here to the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately my 3.4L has developed the oil/coolant mixture and I'm going to drop the engine. I was hoping to not have to disconnect the AC lines though.

There are three bolts: two at the front of the compressor and one at the rear, between the #4 and #5 intake runners. Did you remove the one at the rear?

Here's a pic of the bolt Doug is referring to:

Thanks for the diagram. I knew there had to be one more bolt back there the way it was getting hung up. I just disconnected the lines before I removed the engine. It's a '99 that may be getting a new engine. Either way, a new AC charge is probably a good idea.
