Fuel Door

Anyone know how to remove the fuel tank door. Mine has developed a rash and needs to be painted.

The instructions seem vague, but read like this:

Insert a narrow screwdriver from above in front of the clip, press the fastening lug backwards and hold, and carefully pull off the filler flap upwards.

For rashes:
1. you need to keep that area dry with baby powder.
2. Apply cream as needed.

or what Doug said. I really can't believe it but for the first time pictures are not necessary.
