New 03 C4 Cab Owner
Hi Guys,
Had been on the hunt for my first Porsche the last two months and with some help of some friends and this great site I finally got one a couple of weeks ago. Would have posted sooner but been busy having fun with this lil booger! Last Saturday did one of my must do's in life- driving down CA Hwy 1 from Oxnard to Santa Monica in a 911 Cab with the top down!
Picked it up at Merc dealer with a 30 day/1k mi. warranty, with relatively low mileage <40k mi . Didn't want to take any chances so soon after I took it over to McKenna Porsche to have it checked out and to my surprise and delight the car was still under the CPO thru 12/08. They didn't find anything major with it, a slight oil leak on cam cover and the low tone of the horn not working because it was still under the CPO warranty- they fixed it and it saved me a trip and some time back to the Merc dealer. Great and friendly service at McKenna, treated me like I bought the car from them. Anyways so I don't get harrassed , here's a couple of pics:

Nice car - congratulations. I love the color and the turbo/4S front bumper.
(Ahh, I just think back and it was exactly a week ago that I was flying into Louisville to pick mine up).
Enjoy!!!

Thanks Stan! Yes, indeed this one stood out of the many I looked at the last two months and the previous owner "babied" the car- the interior is like new. I feel lucky indeed. Have a good weekend!

My own brother would never buy a convertible. He lives on the coast and grew up in So Cal. He is a purist and says cabs are too heavy. To me the trade off of running down the coast on a warm day with the top down is the ultimate in a driving experience. I personally do not understand what 50lbs (or whatever a coupe weighs less) is going to do for me. I dont get, but I dont have to. To each his own.
Now if I lived in a cold climate, thats another story.
