That's odd. Have you called some of the race shops? They usually have alot of that stuff on the shleves (used but still just fine).

I got a used rear mounting part with above 993 part# from Farnbacher http://www.farnbacherloles.com for $30 plus shipping as one of the 2 parts I got from Dell had a demaged thread. This was in January and I remember that they had at least 3 of them.

Good lead on the parts. MTB, I would call them and see if you can get something as hwk72 did.

That's correct and I know that Dell!

I guess the demaged part was never mounted as I couldn't even get it on the strut. Good thing was however that I got the 993 part number with the part as I had the same frustration as MTB as the Porsche parts guys told me that this part is not for sale on its own.
