Will a 2003 boxster steering wheel fit a 2001 carrera 4?

A friend of my have a 2001 carrera 4 with the 4 spoked steering wheel and he can now buy a 2003 boxster 3 spoked steering wheel ?

Will that fit? Hard to replace?

He'll also need to buy an air bag for the 3 spoke wheel, as the air bag for the 4 spoke will not fit.
