Anyone familiar with "AA Auto Warranty"?

AA Auto Warranty is a broker of numerous plans underwritten by various insurance companies. We are likely comparing apples, oranges and tangerines here. From what I gather, they seem honest and are BBB accredited. The various insurance plans however are difficult to assess, largely based on inclusions, exclusions and definitions of mechanical breakdown. In the best plans, just what bumper to bumper really means is a tough one to fathom and similar plans may differ in cost by 100%.
If they pick up a potential replacement motor, I would be content with that.

I had just been quoted online (and expect a marathon of calls now) $2,700 for 36moth/ and up to 77k miles (car has 37K). Mine is a 2003 C4 Cab, thus I guess the AWD makes it that much more. The coverage was for their Deluxe plan. Don't know yet whether to purchase as I drive the car less than 8k per year.

Maybe you can check on a lower warranty package that covers the "big ticket" items like engine and transmission. That should be a less in cost but covers you for the major stuff.
