Default Litronic question

I have searched and the answer to this question has evaded me ...

what causes this:
when turning on the litronic headlights in a 996 the passenger light comes on for just a second and then goes off. The driverside turns on normally ...

any clues ...

Hey Luke - I posted with a similar prob. a couple weeks ago. Ended up being some internal connection problems (my headlights both worked, but the turn signals didn't work or were sporadic). FWIW it's fixed with a $125 invoice

So, you turn on the headlights, and the passenger overhead light comes on? Gremlins, man. Gremlins . Never heard of it before.

Luke, the bulb could be going out and the ballast not being able to power it properly now. Another thing you can try is re-seating the headlight assembly.
