Ok, many of you gave me quite alot of grief on a previous thread about a month ago that my 2004 White C4S which I had for sale on consignment at Barrier Motors was priced way too high and I would never sell it. I tried to explain that our economy here in Bellevue, WA is so strong that prices are much higher. Well, good news - my car sold today for FULL PRICE!!!! ![jumper](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/jumper.gif)

Everything is signed, sealed and delivered on my end! I also sold my wheels and tires last week! Hopefully this is good news for others in the Northwest who are thinking of selling their 996. My new 997TT was born on 3/4 and should be here next month - I am very excited. I'll post some pics.

Congrats on the sale.
Agreed that prices in the Seattle area are higher than other parts of the US. When I was shopping for my 996 two years ago, there was a 1999 996 Aero with 40,000 miles that sold for $47,000. I ended up going further south to Portland and found something similar for much less.
Another reason for the higher prices is Seattle's closeness to Canada and we Canadians keep flocking south to buy our cars with the stronger dollar.

Since I work there I get my coffee for free. Allows me to save lots of money towards the TURBO -
Next coffee will be on me - we'll celebrate!

Well, this is another example that helps assert that Rennlisters know squat about market pricing for Porsches. ![banghead](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/banghead.gif)
Many have talked about this before and the habit of this board undervaluing cars.![order](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/order.gif)
There's a lot to be said about not posting your car for sale here.

Yes, and can we finally all stop lowering the values of our cars by continuously insisting that they're not worth anything? Hearing what some owners have to say, you'd think they WANTED their cars to be worth less.
