I hope all goes well when getting logged this week. If we have to move it we will, but it's only about 10 pounds anyway.

Weight: Down to 2850 now with a 1/4 tanks of gas. Still have some items to remove, so it may still be possible. I'm close enough for PCA now I think, but taking more out would be better for NASA.

*****: Thanks for the freezer advice. According to my wife, it is too late, they are already rotten.
Mark,
If you have an email from Donna or Dick, print it and bring it to Tech. It will save you some time.

See you Thursday.

Default Hit the track?

Did Matthew get everything done? Did you make 2800lbs? Matthew restored my 944 Turbo. He's an exceptional mechanic. Very meticulous. I have guilt everytime I bring it in. I'm worried that I'm not taking good enough care of his car for him.

Car was done and ready to go on Thursday. It is awsome, updated pic in my avatar.

It is fast, and It will take the full year for me to figure it out. We ended up right at 2850 dry, with me and gas, 3102. Matt's work is awesome.

Am I the only one who wants to puke when I see this car? I would of killed to have that color combo silver/red on top of being a factory aero!!! I feel like this was a car similar to a 356 or 550 that got molested into a race car. I would of not of had the heart to morph the car into a race car, but that is just me.

But it is a kick @$$ looking rig........

Scott, I'm probably the only guy who is going to reverse the clear side markers back to orange too!

Tippy, It was half way there when I got it, that aier conditioning was great sitting on th egrid this weekend!

Roger, can't wait to race you out there.

ASsfar as results, I did set the fastest lap record for the new class, but finished 5th in class in the enduro after a couple of rookie spins. Georgia clay almost matches the color scheme perfectly.

Need a lot more time in the car, but it will be fast one day.

Normally I don't like orange, but your color scheme for a dedicated track car works well. I like the overall look of your 996, nice work.

Me too...it will be a hoot! I've got quite a learning curve to go through myself. For me, I have to know the car and the track to put up decent times.

I did OK in the Saturday sprint. 2nd in GTC4 and 5th overall. The enduro was a little scary. The car in front of me spun going down the hill into 12 which forced me on to the wet grass for a pretty wild spin of my own. I didn't hit anything but lost a bunch of positions. I think I ended up 8th overall. Not sure where I was in class. Lots of fun though.
