Beautiful car. Congratulations on your purchase!

If you're near a NAPA store try Durgaloss Aqua Wax spray (or order it online). I don't use it on my silver but I detailed a friend's yellow car and I don't think I have ever seen a wetter shine on yellow for a mere $8 and five minutes.
hope you have a Valentine One. That color is the Five-O's fave. |
I don't have a Valentine, but very close, an Escort 8500 (I think that's the number).

I too am not a fan of yellow, but WOW that is an end all Porsche. I would want nothing more if I had that thing.
Just curious how much it was though???? It helps us keep up with the market. |

Also - just changed my picture from the Audi to the P-car. I'm so happy! Also, oil probably from the Land Rover's. The RMS was just changed 1,000 miles ago. SSK is a great mod, as are pedals - you're on the right track :) |
othomasjr,
I understand about wanting to keep appraised of the market. I used this site and every possible thing to keep up with the market. After all was said and done, we settled on $48K. Like I said before, after all of my research and with what the car has, I'm very satisfied with the price. |
Just a little update - I'm off to Kentucky next Friday morning to pick it up. I arrive around 10:30am and the salesperson is picking my wife and I up at the airport. So I hope that after all is said and done I expect to be out of the dealer by 1pm and on the road. The trip home is an "easy" 12 hours. So I'll be back in New York by Saturday evening at the latest.
First off, I will post any pictures of the trip. (This thread is worthless without pictures!!! - I know) Secondly, dealer wants $425 for "processing service charge". I e-mailed him yesterday and told him I bought a CPO Audi with only $107 in extra charges, that's a 297% increase. I also quoted some maximum fees in my e-mail that I found about KY sales. I haven't heard from him yet. Any comments? Thirdly: Does anyone have any suggestions for any great road/side trips from Louisville, KY to NYC? I'm already considering the whiskey/bourbon tour (but then the wife will drive). Thanks, Eric |
Congratulations! Beautiful car!
I got my 02 C4S back in Dec and I'm still on the honeymoon! |
Congratulations. She looks great. Drive her well.

QUOTE] Famous last words.... :icon501: A buddy in Germany has a "Schpeed Yellow" Cayman, the extra bits are really nice on there....congrats. |
Eric...I bought my C4S from a distance as well....don't feel so bad bud....I got hit for $550! That does include temp. registration. While I complained, I couldn't do much about it. Also, I have a client that owns a P-car dealership and he said it was very common for that fee. I rolled my eyes and just let it go....I hope you have better luck, but I wouldn't count on it! When you see the car, you won't care...you'll just want to get in and drive that beauty off. Tell them to make sure the wheels are balanced and inflated perfectly as you'll be driving on a long road trip. The last thing you want is a shimmy on a long trip.
You must be wiggin out...have fun. j |
Congrats! Beautiful car!
Don't rush straight back in a 12 hour shot. Find some b&b's on byways, make a leisurely weekend out of it! Take the long way home. |
Congrats!
You will never tire to look at a C4S sexy butt- no substitute! Now don't make the mistake I did, and put on swirl marks by washing and cleaning it wrong! Just go here www.autopia.org and read the little 4 books on line (20 minutes). John |
