j Eric, resist any suggestion about changing the side markers from orange to clear. The orange ones work fine with speed yellow, as do the colored crest wheel caps. Resist......resist......RESIST!!!!!!! |
I'm driving it back from Kentucky. That's the reason I don't know when I'm going to actually drive it.
It's an easy/boring drive. I did it once with a Mustang LX 5.0 to go to the SCCA Solo II Regional Championships. I'll probably do the side markers first, but not in a quick rush, because as I heard here "pumpkin on yellow is probably the only way to have yellow". Even with that said, I'll change them. After that, maybe a short shifter and pedals. But you have to remember, I'm coming from a 200hp U-boat ('99 Audi A6 Avant) which I think handles well with summer tires (235/40-17) to now a Porsche. I can't even begin to think of the difference. Eric |

33K seems about right for a clutch - I have heard of them lasting 100K, but I think 33K is about right for a well driven example. Good luck sleeping waiting for it to arrive! |

I got a fair price. I went in really low and worked my way up from that.
I believe it was one of the lowest or the lowest priced C4S at a P-car dealer in the entire country with a CPO. So I'm happy with what I paid, although it was a bit more than I anticipated when I first started searching and was thinking of an '99-01 C2! Eric |
