Default For Sale: 01 996 rare Black/Black Tip 27,500 miles

Low mileage 01 rare black/black combo 996 tiptronic coupe for sale.

Kelley Blue Book has a private party valued at $37,000.

I know the price may be a stretch in the real world with tiptronic, but hoping that there will be someone out there. Always garaged and interior is like new.

Currently shopping for a 997 S or 997 C4S. If anyone is interested, send me a private message.

Cheers !

Tips are not that bad and there are some of us that are specifically looking for the convenience. So do not count out your Tip.

First post! Yeah, I am looking for a tip. C4 though.

My first car was a Ford Escort 5 speed that my parents let me drive (this was a long time ago, I'm 30). They needed the manual so they could tow it on all 4 wheels. Some summer jobs got me the dough for a 85 300zx auto, and then when I got a real job, I bought a 00' firebird formula auto. With the traffic in the city, and the fact that my wife can't drive a manual, and I would like her to be able to drive my car if she needs to, autos just make sense.

You don't have to worry about missed shifts, new clutches, traffic, and in most cases the auto is just as fast as the manual (def. need the manual for the track). My firebird is actually faster in a drag race with the auto, especially with a high stall torque converter.

So, I'm looking for a C4 Tip. They are hard to find, but they are out there and there are def. people looking for them. I don't think you will have too much trouble finding a new home for your 01. Good luck to you.

I'm trying to find something in my area, and I want a C4 and an 02'+ for the 3.6L engine, which means I'm going have to find a 02' C4s somewhere. The search is on and I have plenty of time. Wish I could get a 997, but the wife wants a new E550 and I can't afford both right now.

1. Black/black combo
2. Tip
3. Low miles

According to several P dealers, silver is out these days. Black/black is in, and they always have been.

Hmm..rare because there are few 01 tips with 27,500 miles for 37k?
Only my financial advisor would know if it's worth borrowing the money or not.

LOL I was just quoting what the sales manager said... I didn't mean to hurt the feelings of any silver 997 owners out there. Silver/black grey/black is my alternative if black/black isn't available.

Reason #3 for claiming the car is rare makes a lot of sense. As for the other two reasons, you might want to save them for Craigslist or Ebay, unless you just wanted to give us all a good laugh.

Hye, what up? How much did you pay for your black/black 996 with Aero? Believe it or not, I got 3 offers on mine at $36K - $37K. Woo hoo.

LOL

We all know B.C. has the sickest C4S no matter what color. Check out the BH Porsche next time you're in L.A. Two thirds of the showroom are silver cars. The sales manager said that silver cars are not moving as they used to. She pointed out at the 08 997 turbo and C4S and said they've been sitting there a while.

I read that in 1930s, Europena continent was coiled tight with nationalistic tension, and racetracks served as symbolic battlefields. Racing cars in Europe in the 1930s weren't covered with endorsements as they are today, but in colors: blue for France, green for England, red for Italy, and silver for Germany.

the crap i write entertain you fools cuz guess what you REMEMBER my posts v. your mundane/anonymous drivel j/k

i'll def have to check some car places out while in LA. just haven't done that cuz i'm either 1) hung over; or 2) the chicks wanna be by the pool.

i don't care to hit up regular car dealerships. i really wanna hit up cec, platinum just to see wtf they're up to.

it's asinine to discount a silver car period. that's like saying brunettes are outta style. way to broad of a generalization. it's a staple automotive color and shows off the lines of the car the best. period. i love arctic silver or light silver cars in general. these i buy but also do enjoy white, red, gray.

black just hides the car too much for me to like, but it is the color of choice for your boy darth vader. HEHE
