Default Just How Stiff a Ride Should I Expect

Obviously it's subjective, but just how much stiffer will my 996 become after changing from US to ROW030 ??? I'm not saying I'm in favor of the wife's TL but not looking to tear up the kidneys either !!!

It isn't that much of an increase in spring rate - only about 30% in the rear and less than 20% in front, with roughly proportional increases in the antiroll bar rates. It's a nice improvement, and you would probably only object to the ride if you spend a lot of time on broken pavement or rough city streets.

Stock is "soft and compliant" (is a porsche supposed to be this soft), M030 is sporty (this is what they had in mind), x73 is STIFF/firm (you better like a rough ride and have ideas of tracking it a lot)

hope that helps put it into perspective.

Something to consider if not already mentioned. When swapping out springs, there is a bit of settling time. They will seem a bit harsh at first, but will "break in" as you use them.
