Nazhat - please do a search for this kind of stuff. MANY THREADS on this topic discussed to death. Please consider that if everyone who did not have a problem chimed in it would FAR exceed those who have had issues (and they will ALWAYS reply to these threads and they are understandably upset often times). Drive the car, get the oil changed, enjoy the heck out of it. You have an 02 with the 3.6l which I "think" has had less problems than the 3.4l cars reported.

My 3.4 L engine was replaced with remanufactured engine after 57K miles 2001 996. Oil was getting into the coolant big time. We tried a couple of inexpensive fixes without success. Rather than a 40 hour head gasket repair, I bought a new one for $8500 and paid about $1500 to a local mechanic in Va Beach who knows his Porsches for the install. Engine is awesome with significant upgrades from the original.

mine lasted 53K miles. enjoy that warranty.
