Default Seat Options

Since I'm content with the outside of the car *for now* I thought I might focus myself towards the interior.

I'd like to kick up this post to get some ideas of the the kind of seating options we have available for our cars - particularly focusing on overall weight and fit.

Euro GT3 seats are on the list already but what else.....

Thanks as always

Thanks but I'd rather not drop $10g on a set of seats.

porsche has the oem sport seats which have a little more lateral support. there are a whole bunch of aftermarket seats depending what you want them for. recarro also makes a nice set of sport seats as well. the gt3 seats are great if you plan to track the car alot, bit not a good idea if you use them on your daily driver. the bucket of the gt3 seat can make it a challenge for continuously getting in and out of the car.

Mick,

Do you mean these? You can take a look at them when I see you in a few weeks.

Nah Chao

I had the ooportunity to buy black with yellow stitching but passed, I'm really looking at the Euro GT3 seats or some recaros.

Primarily these would be for weekends. Is there some good sources to llok at the recaro options for our cars together with height/weight specs.

Thanks

I have the seats that Chao pictured waiting in my basement to go in sometime in Spring time. I had them in my last car and found them excellent compared to the stock lux type seats. More support and just as comfortable with access to the rear of the car.

If you want to come by and check them out, I'm not far Mick. Just a street away.

Pete

hey Pete, good to hear from you...

I've sat in them and they are good but I'm going for a ton of weight saving now so leaning towards the euro seats.

how is the car running

^ grab some leather sparco's or recaro's. no need 2 stick with OEM if they don't have what you want.
