I am in love with the Martini graphics. Picture mine with the stripes and "Carrera" script along the base of the door. Love it.

I think it's kinda cool--not anything that I would have the ***** to drive, but you gotta love the heritage. Another guy did it to a Cayman S:

As long as you can peel the stickers off!

Lower side graphics look alright but the stripes look like Herbie the vw bug. IMO but to each his own... really like your black wheels on the white!

Gag. Coming from a graphics guy like you, Chad, I'd suggest you schedule a visit with your eye doc.

LOL - Each to their own my friend.

As I mentioned, I have always loved the Martini cars. I think this would look stellar.

I like the heritage aspect as well - but if you are driving this on the street a bit I say nope. track-only car then okay!

OK, this will date me--does anyone else remember the ad, think for Pennzoil, with the guy painting a traditional racing strip down the hood and roof of his green E-type Jag? No?? Oh well . . .

To me, graphics and color should fit the car. For example, yellow is OK for a Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, or Corvette. (Not a Pontiac). I think anything looks good on a Porsche!!!!

Chad, if you like it, go for it! It can always be reversed if you change your mind. I've decided that if I ever mod my car, I'm just going to do it first and post pictures afterwards to avoid the inevitable "that looks stupid" comments.

Good luck!

I say go for it Chad...but maybe the side stripes without the word 'Carrera' in it would look better. If you had a GT3RS it works, but you do not and 'Carrera' in big letters on the side is too much IMHO.

Oh, take out the middle section in your front bumper too if you haven't already, for the 3rd radiator, it's just too much white and the graphics going through that area would be too much.

I am a fan of your 996 Chad, love the Aero w/black wheels. White is on of my favorite 996 colors, yours has been very tastefully done, hats off to you.
With that said, my opinion is that the graphics will take it down, VW like. If you really love it just do it!
Wondering if it would not look better W/O the blue?

The Martini livery is my favorite on a race car. I wouldn't put a decal of any type on a street car though. But, I have a completely stock '00 C4 (except for the clear sides) that a lot of people on this forum would say looks like crap as well.
