WTB: Tequipment "Sport" exhaust tips.
You know the ones. Larger oval diameter than stock.
I have some GHL tips for CHEAP if anyone is interested and once I get these, my black powder coated ones will be available too.
Please PM or email me.
Thanks!

I got these ones, which are not Tequipment. Dansk does make Porsche exhaust stuff, though, and I was very pleasantly surprised at how superbly made and finished these were for quite a bit less money. These are about 1/3 larger than stock. Don't know if it's helpful, but thought I'd throw it out there.

Thanks Bruce. What are the measurements? Could you shoot me the specs? A photo of them mounted on your car would be VERY helpful as well. TIA

Hey, Chad. About to catch a plane, so this is all I can do for you at this moment. Here's a crappy cell phone pic that will give you a vague idea. I can put a tape measure on them later this week and give you dimensions. To my eye, these don't make a statement; they just look more natural than the stock ones did.

Here you go, Chad. I took these just so you can get a sense of the size, and how they sit in relation to the cutouts in terms of space and protrusion. You're a nice guy, but I wasn't going to wash the car just for you.
You fragile types might want to turn away and not look at these. This, kids, is what a big city, daily driven 911 looks like in February. Consider yourself warned.
P.S. The finish is actually chrome. These are just filthy. But it's a good quality finish. No pitting or corrosion, despite the harsh environment. The insides come finished in black.

Chad, adding to Bruce's info, you'll notice that the Dansk tips aren't angle-cut, unlike the Tequipments. In other words, if you're standing behind the car and looking straight down at the rear bumper, the Danks tips don't align with the bumper contours like the Tequipments. I also had the Dansk tips on my prior 996, and I was very happy with the quality and finish, especially the thicker rolled lips. I eventually swapped them out for the Tequipments (solely for the flushed look), however. Interestingly, mine were finished in silver on the inside, unlike Bruce's. Hmmm...

Chad...not sure that porsche sells much larger tips for the c2 996. i do recall, however, seeing some large oval tips from fabspeed that may interest you. just make sure that they fit perfectly around the recess in the bumper or else they will look out of place as Ben mentioned.
