Rim replacement vs repair.
#19
I referred my buddy to Tru Wheel in North Hollywood. He had an open end 5/8 wrench go through the tire on his NSX and it punched a hole in the rim. It was a very expensive Enkei rim and they fixed it for around $250.

Keep in mind the aftermarket ones don't match exactly. They are a slightly different casting and have a different paint on them. I would recomment to just have it repaired as this is not only the best matching option, but also the cheapest <$100.

Here is a link to a company that sell OEM and replicas wheels at good prices.

I haven't used them, and am not affiliated w/ them.

Omar is correct ---- don't put in a claim. You will get paid -- less your dedutable - but you will be hit next time you renew.
Have your wheel repaired or just be patient -- you will find a wheel.

I am going to have my wheel repaired and put in a claim for a new wheel. As far as insurance goes, I have a problem with paying it my entire life and not getting anything in return but assurance. So yes, my rate may increase $3 - $10 per months for 3 years but I've basically recouped a full year of insurance with this one claim.
