I am considering buying a used set of Kinesis wheels for my project car. I will be installing the OEM Mk1 aero kit that I purchased for it shortly. I love my polished turbo twist style wheels (18x8 & 18x 10), but I know they are not the lightest wheels. I am not sure they will look the best with the aero kit.
I promise not to be offended by any opinions....it's just a car . If you have different taste in wheels, I won't take it personal.
The wheels I am considering are pictured. They are 18x8.5 front and 18x10.5 rear. Two have been refinished in satin black, the other two are anodised black and will need to be refinished in matching satin black.
Thanks guys.

Mark,
OK, I am going to give it to you straight from the hip. I think the chrome wheels look like ****. (translation = I am not a fan of chrome on P-cars). (Meant to be humorous)
The Kinesis wheels are nice looking. However, while I may not be as knowledgeable as you are in the technical department, I think you are going to have to put a tire on the top left wheel in the Kinesis pic. If you leave the wheel as is, I don't think your car will handle very well.

Thanks for taking the time to post your opinions guys. I really love the look of the satin black wheels. I wish my car was a lighter blue. I think the contrast would look better.
Arnee, I can't imagine improving the look of your car. I understand blacking them out though. It will look fantastic.
DJ, thanks. The Iforged wheels look great. Please post pictures when you get them.
ls911, I'll give your idea a try. I already told her that the decreased weight will be like adding 20hp....she likes to go fast also.
Ray, thanks. The decreased weight for the track is a big motivation, plus the extra width. I'm not sure how significant either will be. If I get the black ones, I doubt I can justify keeping the polished ones.
Here is a picture of Jerry Seinfeld's former car that is for sale.

Love the black wheels but not sure how they'll look on your blue 911. Still they look better than the chrome. If you like them ...that's all that matters.

Not a fan of black wheels on a blue car. Black looks better on a brighter color car (i.e. white, silver, yellow, red) or black on black. I would go with a brushed or polished silver on your car and something with a turbo/aero twist. Or if you want to get a little more exciting a gold center on blue would look awesome.

Thanks for the opinions and ideas guys. The gold center is an interesting thought. I had an Alfa coupe in college (early 80s)...it was red with gold centered Gotti wheels. They seem to be making a comeback. They might look good with a blue car. Body colored centers like the 80s Fuchs wheels might also be a little different.

I LOVE your "wife's" outfit. What's not to like?
I think silver wheels would look best on your car. Maybe some silver Kinesis wheels? I am not sure that the "black & blue" combination (especially darker blue) would look that good. Not enough contrast, IMO.
