How's the headroom in a targa compare to that of a sunroofed coupe?
I imagine it's an extra inch or so, but that's an awfully big assumption when it comes to travelling to see a car or even purchasing it sight unseen...
(unfortunately there are no targa's for sale locally for me to sit in!)

Just open the targa top if the room is tight ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Seriously, don't notice the headroom to be tight, might be extra room vs. a coupe. Had a friend in mine not long ago. He is 6'1 - 6'2" 200+ lbs ... he looked comfortable, until we ran up through the gears on an on-ramp

I'm 6' 1" and I have a couple of inches from my head to the shade-liner. When the roof is travelling back, it slides downward, but even then it doesn't come that close.
I must say though, my favorite feature of the Targa is the access to the back of the seats through the rear glass (hatchback-like). That sealed the deal for me. It's like having a dual-trunk!!

My issue is i have a long torso. I know lots of tall guys are ok even in sunroofed coupes but I brush the roof even with the seat fully lowered. I need another inch of space which is why i'm thinking of a targa.

Grantq-
I had a coupe before my targa and there is definetly more head room, how much I'm not 100% sure. I would guess around an inch or so more. I'm not tall so I don't have the issue. I'm in Seattle, so if you have any plans to be in Seattle, you're more than welcome to sit in my car and give it a try. Just shoot me a pm.
