I am relocating so my car is no longer for sale...
Ok, some of you are aware that I went the "be your own boss" route in consulting a little over a year ago. Unfortunately, that did not work out as planned. I have been looking for a position since October of 2007.
Well, I have received an offer (which I have accepted) for a position with a company in Dallas. I will start that job on 2/25. My wife, who teaches English Literature, will be joining me in Dallas this summer.
I want to thank those of you (and you know who you are) that have sent PM's of encouragement and support. I really do appreciate your efforts.
Because of the move to Dallas, my 2004 C2 is no longer for sale. I have 3 months left on the lease and I have decided to turn it back to the leasing company at lease end. I will remove most, if not all, of the mods (mostly cosmetic) I have done to the car prior to returning it in May. I will be offering those items for sale on Rennlist at that time.
Thanks again for all of your help and support. I look forward to my continued interaction on Rennlist.

I don't know exactly what the next car will be. Unfortunately, my 996 has spoiled me! The next car will probably be some used POS that I won't really care one way or another about driving. If I can't drive a 911, then in my mind, it is just transportation. As they say.... "there is no substitute!"

Congratulations on the new job, Tim. With affordable housing and solid employment, Dallas should treat you and your wife very well. We'll keep posting pics for you as you work towards acquiring your next P-car.

Thanks you to all of you for the best wishes! I really do appreciate your comments.
BTW, this is the reason I started that thread I saw a Red C4S in Dallas about two weeks ago. It was in the parking lot at the corporate headquarters when I went down there for an interiew. I guess the owner is not a Rennlister, so I'll have to wait until I get there to find out who owns it.
