Tim, what you NEED in Dallas is a pristine S4!! I just happen to have one here in Philly ....

You know I'd starting to think that Phil has an inner loathing of all nice cars. ... time for another visit to the shrink.

Didn't Phil write that his brother is a shrink, and that his "car issues" are in fact much worse. I think they need an intervention. I smell a couple of new Prius.

Actually, I could easily see Phil in a Prius.

I don't think it is a loathing, I think Phil has a split personality (OMG, two Phils! ). The two personalities talk and agree to buy a car. Then the dominant one says "We aren't going to drive it though." The lesser personality starts to push hard to drive the car and wins occasionally, which pissed off the dominant one, so he decides to sell the car. It is an eternal struggle, and we get to view it first hand on Rennlist. But thankfully for most of us, we do so from afar.

Hey Wayne - where have you been. I've been in Wellard-withdrawal. Your Prius comment is below the belt - no pun intended. I'm a "green" guy, but I think I could even convince Al Gore that the Prius is just "not me." BTW, got my S4 back from the dealership - I've weighing my options - the dealer fixed pretty much everything, but the experience has left a bad taste in my mouth for the car, so I'm still leaning towards switching it to a TT roadster. And between my therapy and my brother being a shrink, our mutual therapist is now looking at electric orange Murcielagos. He'll import it here from Italy of course while vacationing on the Riviera.

My wife wishes she could say that, too.

Your therapist also mentioned that after he got the Murcielago, he thought a Bugatti Veyron was probably attainable within the next 9 to 12 months, especially if you "borrow" your brother's 987 and drive it to Charlotte for the Porsche Parade.

I can see it now..... you pick up the Boxster with 200 miles on the clock. You drive to Charlotte and return the car to your brother with 1,450 on it. When your brother checks out the car upon its return home, he gives you THE LOOK! Your response is "WHAT?????? I filled up the tank!!" This will result in weekly individual and joint therapy sessions, which would continue indefinitely. Veyron in his heated and air conditioned garage within 12 months, guaranteed!

BTW, have you analyzed the word therapist? By simply adding one space, you get "the rapist."
