Default A question about the Porsche stereo system

My car is a 2003 C2 with a CDR 23 stock system. My first question is if I remove the system by using the Radio Removal Tool, do I need to input a code to get it to work again?

The second question is about if anyone had found a way to hook-up an Ipod. I tried the FM transmitter and it is a complete disaster, especially when living is an urban area. I did some research and still not satisfied.

Many thanks.

A step up from an FM transmitter would be an FM modulator. Still uses the FM on the radio, but it's actually hard wired inline with the FM antenna connection, so it's sending it via a cable, not the airwaves.

That radio does not have a user code. If you disconnect the radio and then hook it back up it will just work.

If you had the CDR-220, Becker sells a cable for under $20 that connects to the headphone jack on your iPod. Maybe the same cable or one like it will fit yours, too. Would be better than FM.
