Default CPO WARRANTY

Hey guys real quick. My car is at my Indy for a service checkup. They stated the water pump is leaking and asked if I wanted to replace or just keep a eye on it. I have CPO coverage til next Aug, does CPO cover this item? Also my Indy would charge $850 parts and labor, from what Ive searched Stealers wanted double that. TIA

Call the dealership and ask them to look it up. Most likely a water pump is covered but the dealership can confirm. Why spend $850 if you have a CPO warranty?

What bafoons! It takes 2 seconds to type it into their service computer and it will spit out if that is a covered CPO part. Or better yet, SHOW THEM THE DAMN CPO BOOK THAT SHOWS IT!!!!!

I'll attach a pic....

Dell thanks man. I appreciate it. I know these dealers are a joke. Where did you find the CPO book from?

It was mailed to me by PCNA (actually and entire welcome kit) when I bought my CPO CAB.

also go to the porsche website and look it up there. everything that is covered by the cpo is listed. you might consider going to a different dealer next time. like dell said the information is readily available.

Here is a link to a PDF from the Porsche web site. You can orint it out for future reference or you can shove it up the service manager's ***.... sideways!

Porsche CPO

If that doesn't work, ask me about the "umbrella trick." Dell, you probably remember me talking about that one before.

Good find Tim. If that doesn't work for those needing it, shoot me an email and I will send you scanned images.

You can get this to make the PORKING a little more enjoyable. It is not OEM, it is aftermarket!
