Nav Install, need to move Climate Control??

Ok - that's spooky. I was just online looking at the 3100!!!!
It seems you can get one now for around $80-100 on ebay. I have the Becker kit with the ipod/phone mute already installed (BNS-1319-116).
Also, my wife informs me that I don't need the NAV! I guess she'll be giving directions from now on - great!!!!
1. How does it work, given the slight road noise from the 996?!?!
2. Did you fit it - if yes, how was the install?
3. Where did you mount it? I'm thinking inside the *** (cigarette in Brit speak) tray!
4. Mic location. Where did you run the wires?
4. Did you just hook up the becker phone mute cable to the Parrot device?
Any pics?

Install is easy.
I used to have the parrot hooked up to the OEM Becker cdr-220 but I have since changed my HU to a nakamichi CD400, which also has the Tel Mute... either way (factory or aftermarket), it works fine.
You can check your PM in the upper-right portion of the screen. It should show that you have 1 new message...from me.
