This may have been asked a bunch of times, but I've been searching for a C4S, and I think I have seen some 05's, but they were 996 style... Did it take them a year to do the C4S?

Finally ready to get a 911, have to have a C4S!!!!!

yes the 05 C4S was carry over 996 as was the Turbo

You will find this is somewhat common for Porsche, they have done this in the past, not just the 996 to 997 cars. They were still selling 993 turbos and cabs i belive when the 996 first appeared in 1998

I think the 996 C4S is unique with the turbo front, wide body without the turbo holes, red stripe in the back, and is the best looking 996, even better than the 997 C4S which looks like any other 997. But, I may just be "slightly" biased

The 996 was distictive, and included upgrades like full leather at no cost. The 997 C4S doesn't bring that to the table, that's a shame.

here are some pics of my previous 05-c4s with the aero kit...beautiful car. the 997 c4s are nice as well imo. they are actually wider than the 996 c4s and tt.

I'm pretty sure the 996 C4S cab was '04 and '05 only.
