Am I just a big dork?

Porsche calls it a 911, so I do, too, with 'civilians'. To me, the series number is something only dorks like us care about.

9:11 I have never thought of that.
Perhaps because the original 911 was so many years ago and ever since 964 iteration, I have always thought about them by Porsche job numbers. I hate the number confusion with the name of the car so I call mine the green car or the carrera.

King dork here...I've had this reaction to seeing this time on the clock since I was about 12...no joke...same thing at 9:12, 9:14, 9:24, 9:44. I can't help but point it out to my wife when I happen to glance at the time and it shows one of these magical (at least to me) numbers.
Off the topic a bit, but as long as we are talking about realizing how dorky we are, I had another such moment today, as I glanced at my reflection in the elevator heading to a court hearing, and noticed no less than two pens and two highlighers in my shirt pocket. Although it looked ridicuolous, I quickly realized I didn't care, and justified overloading my pocket with pens by convincing myself I was in fact only being prudent (you know, just in case 3 of the four dried up at the same time). Yes, I'm a dork.
