NOBY, I have 18" OEM 10" wide rear wheels with 65mm offset and have 295/30/18 PS2 tires on them. No issues, but as Ray said, the bead is slightly stretched out, but not much. Would I go it again? YES!

Wow, this is really started to become more difficult than it needs to be.
NOBY.......the 18"x10" wheel with an offset of 65 is your FACTORY wheel for the 996 Narrow Body.
As I said before, if you find a wheel between 10"et65 and 11"et63 you will be perfect!

Here is the breakdown on how the fit would be if going FROM an 18" OEM wheel that is 10" wide with a 65mm offset and replacing it with an 18" wheel that is 11" wide with a 63mm offset.
- The face (outside) of wheel will EXTEND an additional 15mm compared to the 10" wheel, and
- The inner clearence will be 12mm LESS than 10" wheel.
For comparison sake, if you went with the 11" wheel with a 56mm offset (not recommended), the face (outside) of wheel will EXTEND an additional 22mm compared to the 10" wheel. That is almost 1 full inch farther out than the OEM wheel, which is a LOT!
