You will love the ROW M0030, it took my car from floating along the autobahn to being planted.

Since there is nothing wrong with the plastic window (or the top), I'm planning to just have the window stitched to the canvas. I've heard some people have done this with good success, just not sure if any of the shops here can handle it. I'm planning to find out next week.

Interesting to see your top removed, brings back memories.
I did a body-off on my '62 Bug Cabrio and did the top with a buddy, including sewing the layers with big U-shaped needles, ha.

Kas930, not only do you seem quite skilled, but I love your garage as well. Good luck with your repairs and modifications.

Yea much props to you for your skills. My car is in the shop getting the lifters replaced, when they opened the engine up I thought I'd drop by to take a look. After 5 minutes of staring blankly under my Porsche with the muffler gone and valve covers off I still had no idea what I was looking at.

Btw, after this is done you will also LOVE your B&M SSK!!

Thanks for the great comments... I'm really enjoying working on this car. It is quite different from my 930, but the heritage is still obvious. I'll do my best to keep the forum updated on my progress..
The suspension removal was pretty straight forward.. The car being a convertible there were a few extra steps involved to getting the tops of the rear shock towers than a coupe would have... Other than that, it was a little nerve wrecking removing the fronts, if you screw up you can damage the fenders rotating the shocks out from under the fenders.
