Default GT3 vs Audi R8 - Merry Christmas Porsche

Porsche has a long proven history in bulding great track and street cars.
Don't get me wrong, the R8 is a fantastic car....but the hype will diminish as time goes by.

Enjoy and Happy Holidays to all.

How could she win? I wonder what would've happened if they switched cars.

JC is such a dork for crumpling the GT3.

R8 will not stay with a GT3. Had one at RRR with double my experience level and I was constantly faster. Beautiful car in person though.

they both have a unique value to offer, i dont' understand why some of you always make this an either/or battle since it's likely you aren't on porsche's payroll or a family member.

i love the R8, and i love the gt3. audi should be applauded for their accomplishment.

It seems like you never like to take a positive spin on this forum...LOL
I'm sure some other members here will agree.
There has been is alot of hype about the R8 being a new and the first supercar that Audi has put on the streets. I thought us P car guys will get a kick out of this video clip.
Take a chill pill and MERRY Christmas to you.

Both great cars.....And Porsche fans are some of the most loyal in the world, if this were not the case we would be seeing this in an Audi Form. What did you think Benjamin Choi ,Why should I applaud them ?

the r8 has met and exceeded expectations

and it's got nothing to do with being positive - it has everything to do with being candid and keeping it real. your definition of positive is hype/fluff/myopic - take the red pill if it means it gets you back into a more honest reality.

cheers bud

There maybe some truth here, but alas the GT3 is a rock star and the R8 is on its knees like a good groupie.

Your right they don't ,however its not like the Porsche costs more. I will give them credit when credit is due, when the R8 costs less and beats the GT3.
Just for the record i like the R8.

Precisely the point...somehow BC doesn't get it...no one is bashing the R8 or kissing the GT3's ***.
It almost sounds like Audi paid BC a buck or 2 to come up with such an irrelevant comment.
