Default Anyone know this 40th?

I have been shopping for a 40th car and found this one for sale. It has 18k miles and I have them at a price I can live with. The car has had 2 owners and someone put a GT3 wing on the car ( not sure I am going to like that, but willing to move forward anyway). I am hopeful that someone here will recognize the car and provide some info about the PO.
Thanks in advance

No idea, but I'm new here anyway . You might want to inquire as to why it accumulated 800 odd miles since the photos were taken though.

I did and the owners of the dealership have been driving it, and they readily admitted it,, and also said they are loving every minute of time they spend racking up the miles..

That's good. Hate for it to have been a 'loaner' that all and sundry ragged on.

Good luck with the hunt. I would like to hear about your 930. Also, how do you like driving it versus the 40th to prompt you to look for one? The 993 looks awesome.

I have enjoyed every P car that I have ever owned and my 993 and 930 are no exceptions. The driving force behind the decision to get a 996 is to get a car that I can just get in and go cross country and not think twice about it. I also would like something with a bit more power than the 993 as well as more creature comforts. I am hoping the X51 package will deliver the thrill as I know the car will deliver on the ride quality.
As far as the 930 goes, they are a real thrill to drive,, but they are raw and roudy. A completely different animal than the 993. No power steering, power brakes, ABS, PSM etc. You have to be on your toes to drive it fast.
So the decision to get the 40th car. I like the looks,, the upgrades are what I would want to do if I puchased a base 996 anyway.
Still not sure about the wing on the one I am contemplating,, but all my P cars have wings , so why the heck not?
I am still hoping to hear if anyone knows that car in question. It is still under warranty, but I would love to find any info about its previous owners.

Is that Evan's old 993 C4 from CT? He is an old friend and I wish I bought that car as he is very "tidy".
