Default How to Remove Door Panel (DIY)??

Does anyone have some good links to door panel removal? Tools needed? I seem to remember that there was one at one time but did a search and could not find it. Thanks.

I saved part of a post recently, but I regret that I didn't identify the author:

I pulled the door panel as per
http://www.ecoutez.net/boxster/door-panel-removal/ (thank you!) and
http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...d.php?t=392254 (thanks!) and removed the insulating sheet. Took about an hour going slowly and carefully.

Good luck!

Looks like a PITA from that Boxster thread (disconnecting the battery and all). I've seen threads on this forum that make it look like removing a few screws and you're done. Do a search for one of those!

Andy K, I remember seeing the thread that suggested disconnecting the battery so that the airbag could not possibly deploy. Thought that was a great suggestion as the air bag deploying would be the mother of all surprises. Heart attack, Head injury, Wet pants, etc lol
