thanks for all the feedbacks, really appreciate the responses.
Barn996...yes these are the "hobby racer" wheels. LOL
BTW:
As for the wheels, they are Iforged Monaco, 19", tires are Pirelli Rosso
235/35-19
303/25-19
Slight rubbing in the front when your at full lock, only at the plastic liner...no big deal. The rear is all good.
But Im gonna switch to Mich PS2
235/35-19
295/30-19

If it was a mistake - it was a calculated one.
I am all about performance rather than looks. Form = function in my book. All the power to Red making his car look stunning. ...It really does look good, IMO.
Enjoy.

looks 1000000x better than stock bro - nice work
and those who say they're all about performance than looks is bullsh!ttin themself.
and get it straight since i coined the hobby racer definition.. these aren't hobby racer wheels because they don't pretend to be what they're not. they're an accessory that clearly makes the car look better. hobby racer wheels are those wheels loved by those who race not for a living, but in the name of a hobby who then think they're somehow really talented speedracers when the only thing separating them from those who don't track their 911s... $ and time and interest. then as a result they buy stuff like OEM wheels and tout them as awesome looking when clearly aftermarket wheels look so much better than any oem wheel especially in 911 land.
i've yet to run into a person on rennlist who races even part-time bringing in $s. but i sure do hear a lot from the hobby racers and their awesome "go-fast" parts criticizing wheels like the above because they're what... for pimpin'? at ease fellas cuz you drive a street car just like the rest of us.
i'd appreciate their input a lot more if they got rid of the racer chip on their shoulder.
pls

Redridge, I thought you couldn't improve on the look (and performance for that matter) of your car with the polished turbo twist wheels. You just did. The black wheels look stunning!
Are you keeping the other two sets of wheels for when you feel like a change of pace or for the track? You could have one set for the drag strip and one for the road race tracks.....hmmmm, I think I could sell my wife on that one.
I have always been tempted to have the centers painted black on my wife's SL600 AMG wheels. I think you just convinced me.

thanks for the feedback fellas' appreciate that
Mfletch, I got 3 set off wheels now...thank God for the shed that wifey never goes into!. But, yeah one for the track, and 2 for the street, oem and custom look... there are times when I like the oem look, but its nice to change the look around sometimes.
I think that is a great idea with the MB, maybe you can color match it with the body... try asking Tim for a Photoshop first...or try other dark color, anthracite, graphite..etc.

Redridge, the three wheels that you have, are three of my favorites. You are smart to keep them. I need a shed like you have. Thanks for the advice on the MB. I'll try photoshop myself....if I can't figure it out, I'll ask my kids or PM Tim.

Mark - hwere is a real "quick & dirty" p-shop just to give you an idea of what the MB car would look like with black wheels.
